Gaggia Classic add ons
Several add-ons were custom made for this Gaggia Classic espresso machine. The handle for the portafilter and the steam knob were made from burl olive wood from the Provence in France. The decorative plate is also olive wood, but from a stem.
How its made
The handle for the portafilter was made from a solid piece of olive wood burl. To make the filter fit a hole was drilled and chiseled out, the chamfers were sanded by hand.
